Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Jaunt Travel Limited when you use Jaunt. Please read them before you sign up. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. About us

Jaunt is run by Jaunt Travel Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17511431). Our registered office is 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF.

You can contact us at hello@jaunt-travel.io or our contact form.

2. What Jaunt does

Jaunt helps groups of friends plan trips together: vote on where to go, when to go and where to stay, and share travel plans, people and checklists.

Jaunt is a planning tool. We do not sell, book or pay for any travel, accommodation or other services, and we are not a travel agent. Any booking you make is between you and the company you book with, on their terms.

3. Who can use Jaunt

You must be 18 or over to use Jaunt. You need a mobile phone number that can receive text messages to sign in.

4. Your account

Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.

Keep your phone and sign-in codes safe. Do not share codes with anyone. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.

5. Price

Jaunt is currently free to use. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you the price and terms first, and you will not be charged unless you agree.

6. Trips, owners and members

The person who creates a trip is its owner. Owners and admins can change trip settings, add and remove members, and delete the trip.

Everything you add to a trip can be seen by its other members.

If a trip is deleted, or you are removed from it, you will no longer be able to see it.

7. Inviting people

When you invite someone, we text them on your behalf. Only invite people you know who would expect to hear from you about the trip, and make sure you have the right to share their number with us.

8. Your content

You own what you add to Jaunt, such as photos, trip details and messages. You give us permission to store it, show it to the members of your trips and use it to run Jaunt. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except where other members still need it in a shared trip, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Only add content you have the right to share. Do not add anything that is illegal, harmful, offensive or that breaks someone else’s rights.

9. Using Jaunt fairly

You must not:

use Jaunt to break the law, or to harass, spam or harm anyone

try to get into other people’s accounts or trips, or into parts of Jaunt you are not allowed to use

interfere with how Jaunt works, for example with viruses or by overloading it

copy, scrape or resell Jaunt or its content without our permission

10. Information in Jaunt

Some details, such as flight times, train times, taxi routes, places to stay and prices, come from other services or from other members. We do our best, but we cannot promise they are correct or up to date. Always check important details, such as times, prices and entry requirements, with the airline, operator, accommodation provider or official government sources before you travel.

Cost splits in Jaunt are a guide to help your group. Jaunt does not collect, hold or send money.

11. Our service

We are always improving Jaunt, so features may change. We will try to keep Jaunt available, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance or because of problems outside our control.

12. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to follow these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure or our lack of reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

Jaunt is for personal, non-business use. We are not responsible to you for any loss of profit, business or business opportunity.

We are not responsible for bookings you make with other companies, or for the acts of other members of your trips.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. These terms do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

13. Ending your use of Jaunt

You can stop using Jaunt and delete your account at any time in the app under Account.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to for legal reasons. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and explain why. If we decide to stop running Jaunt, we will give you reasonable notice.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example to reflect new features or changes in the law. We will change the date at the top, and if the changes are important we will tell you in the app before they take effect. If you do not agree to the new terms, you can delete your account.

15. Other important terms

If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest will still apply.

If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.

We may transfer this agreement to another organisation, for example if Jaunt is sold. Your rights will not be reduced.

Nobody else has any rights under these terms.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we will try to sort it out.
